This past weekend I went skiing at Roundtop Mountain Resort with a bunch of friends. Our range of skills was beginner skiers to well seasoned snowboarders and we all had a blast. Our day trip at Roundtop proved to be a successful outdoor winter activity. Located in Lewisburg PA, Roundtop is a great place to go for all sorts of winter fun. Only two hours from Annapolis, my friends and I were able to get the most out of our mini road trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the slopes were exciting and diverse. Beyond snowboarding and skiing, Roundtop also offers snow tubing. Although we didn't make it to snow tubing, it definitely looked fun. Snow tubing is a great alternative for younger kids or people to nervous to ski. Many ski resorts allow people to purchase night tickets. When the sun goes down, the resorts lights make the slopes look magical. We got our moneys worth and our winters worth at Roundtop and I would definitely recommend going! So what is better than hot chocolate by the fire?...hot chocolate by the fire in a ski lodge laughing about an adventurous day on the slopes.
