“Being a student-athlete at Arundel has created many bonds between friends, coaches, teachers and me,” Matt says. “I have learned countless life lessons that are important for being successful in all parts of life.”
A 4.26-GPA student, Matt, the first child of Peter and Karen Shin of Crofton, is President of the Key Club, an AP Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society, the Relay for Life committee, the Principal's Honor Roll (with an impressive 4.86 weighted GPA his first marking period of school), and he made the varsity baseball team as a freshman, for which he's now a team captain.
