Ice Hockey and Lacrosse
r
Helping guide his ice hockey team to a MIAA A-Conference title last winter as a forward (and the team's leading scorer), Breanainn is a leader in the classroom as well, with a 4.36 weighted GPA. He's 16th in a class of 307 students, and will graduate this spring.
As much as he studies (he lists AP calculus and physics as his two favorite classes), Breanainn enjoys competing in sports, too, because he learns a lot on the ice and fi eld as well.
“The things I most enjoy in sports are the lessons,” Breanainn says. “The most important lesson I have learned is that I need to be a hard worker, and I have taken this lesson to every other aspect of my life.”
Breanainn is looking to attend Boston University or Lehigh. He plans to study engineering. He plays attack in lacrosse, and lives in Annapolis with his parents, Patrick and Nancy, and sisters Maddy (15), Evie (9), and 7-yearold Cami.
