Debbie Collison of St. Michaels has joined the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) in St. Michaels as the new membership team leader.
Collison’s responsibilities include enhancing the member experience through programming and outreach initiatives. She ings more thirty years of management experience and community service to her position.
Collison has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including the Chesapeake Center, Talbot Mentors, and Computer Literacy for Kids. She is a member of the Harbourtowne Ladies’ Golf Association, High Hopes Investment Club, and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and volunteers with Waterfowl Festival, Talbot Partnership, Habitat for Humanity Choptank, and the St. Michaels Annual Crop Walk.
Collison earned her BA with honors in liberal arts from Hood College in Frederick, MD and has lived along the Chesapeake since 1990.
Through educational, cultural and interactive exhibits and activities, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum cele ates the connections between the Bay and its people. The museum’s waterfront campus includes twelve exhibit buildings along the Miles River and St. Michaels Harbor.
