Foundation to the Friends of Arundel Seniors (FOAS), a volunteer group which installs safety equipment in the homes of low-income seniors, during a ceremony at the Arundel Center in Annapolis. Participants include Pam Jordan, second from left, director, Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities, Dr. Lloyd Lewis, president, FOAS; County Executive John R. Leopold; and Denise Muncie, chairman of the board of the Senior Providers Group. SPG members purchase advertising in the annual “Services for Seniors, Adults with Disabilities, and Caregivers” coordinated by the Department with What’s Up? and net proceeds from the annual publication benefit FOAS.
