Since 2012, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving has been known as #GivingTuesday. Now that the holidays are in full swing, it is important to give back to our community and come together through giving. Giving Tuesday encourages people to do good for their community. Donate to local charities however you can, from monetary donations to volunteering your time, do a random act of kindness, or even just make someone smile. The holiday season is about giving, but that can be hard to remember sometimes. How are you going to help your community, our home, this Giving Tuesday?
Below are some of our local nonprofits in Anne Arundel County and all over the Eastern Shore. Find an organization with a cause close to you and help them today!
