All of the attorneys at Krause & Ferris are military veterans, and partner William M. Ferris is a retired Naval Reserve Officer with more than 20 years of combined active duty and drilling reserve service.
rPartner Lynn Thomas Krause is a 1969 graduate of the University of Southern California, cum laude, and received his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University in 1975. He is a member of the Maryland and Washington, D.C., bars, and is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the District of Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the American, Maryland State, District of Columbia, and Anne Arundel County Bar Associations (and a past President), and the American Land Title Association. He served as an active duty Naval Officer from 1969 until 1975. He is a director of The Security Title Guarantee Corporation of Baltimore, the only national title insurance company headquartered in Maryland. He is a former President of two community associations, and is the Chairman of the Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency.
rWilliam M. Ferris is a 1970 graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree, with distinction (highest honors), received a Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of Baltimore, in 1978, and also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Taxation from the University of Baltimore. He is admitted to practice before all Maryland Courts and is also a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the United States Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals, and the United States Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals. He is a member of the American, Maryland State, and Anne Arundel County Bar Associations and is recognized as a Proctor in Admiralty by the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
rAssociate Nevin L. Young graduated from St. John’s College in Annapolis and received a Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University. He is admitted to practice in all Maryland State courts and is a member of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association. He had a widely varied and responsible career in the electronics industry before becoming an attorney.
