Dr. Trahar is a solo practitioner. In this regard, she distinguishes herself from high-volume, multi-doctor practices by providing individual attention; combining personalized care in a soothing, intimate setting, one that is just like home; while still providing state-of-the-art digital technology; and advanced orthodontic techniques, products, and materials in a family-centered and earth-friendly environment. Dr. Trahar is happy to provide esthetic ceramic braces; self-ligating braces; Invisalign and Invisalign Teen; and employs temporary anchorage devices (TADs) to streamline treatment.
rDr. Trahar has devoted much of her time, skill, and energy in charitable contributions. She has been a NYC marathon runner for Fred’s Team: Memorial Sloan. Kettering Cancer Research Center; a team leader of ‘Smile for a Cure’ for Relay for Life: The American Cancer Society; and she donates a full orthodontic case each year to benefit the Hospice of the Chesapeake. This year Dr. Trahar’s donation to the Hospice of the Chesapeake comes with a greater personal significance as Dr. Trahar’s father passed away while in residence at the Mandrin Hopice House earlier this summer. It is with a grateful heart and much appreciation that Dr. Trahar will continue to support Hospice of the Chesapeake.
