Maryland Eye Associates is a practice of Board Certified and Board Eligible Ophthalmologists in Southern Maryland. With two locations, Annapolis and Prince Frederick, our doctors are devoted to preserving and restoring sight. Drs. Dodd, Wanner, Berry, Chang, and Burge are in our Annapolis location, ready to assist with your eye exam, eye emergencies, cataract surgical needs, and contact lenses.
Diane Chang, M.D. has five years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology. Dr. Chang joined the physicians at Maryland Eye Associates July 2015. Dr. Chang obtained her medical degree and her Ph.D at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine/Carnegie Mellon University Medical Scientist Training Program. She completed her Residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Chang is Board Certified.
Dr. Chang sees general ophthalmic patients, emergency patients, and pediatric patients. She treats patients with cataracts, diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eyes, and eye emergencies.

1. What excites you most about the future of your practice?
That technology is always improving to treat eye conditions more effectively and less invasively, and allow patients to see better after surgery than ever before.
2. What philanthropic causes do you support?
Surgical Eye Expeditions International. They assemble teams of volunteer ophthalmologists who travel to underserved populations all over the world to restore sight through surgical procedures.
ABOUT DR. CHANG
Dr. Chang graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, obtained her MD/PhD degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and completed residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She then worked in private practice and at a teaching hospital in New York City, and was selected as one of Super Doctors New York Rising Stars. She joined Maryland Eye Associates in 2015 and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
