Ferry Cove Oyster Hatchery is Now Taking Orders for Spring 2022
Sherwood, MD - Ferry Cove Shellfish, located on 21770 Lowes Wharf Road in Sherwood, is a commercial oyster hatchery focused on producing high quality shellfish larvae and seed stock for sale to buyers in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Hatchery will offer customers a variety of Eastern oyster (Crassostrea virginica) broodstock to meet growers needs including wild stock, triploids and disease resistant / selected lines. They recently announced on their website that they are now taking orders for Spring 2022.
