Cordova, MD - An exciting update for the Eastern Shore of Maryland, what was to be the first Ocean City Balloon Festival has now been moved back to Talbot County and renamed the Original Chesapeake Balloon Festival. Still taking place August 25-27, festival organizers are responding to an overwhelming number of messages from the mid-shore and encouragement from Talbot County government, requesting them to bring the festival back home to Easton.
The festival will have hot air balloon flights, tethered balloon rides, and a balloon glow. There’s live music from Nashville recording artist Jimmy Charles “It’s a Maryland Thing”, Black Dog Alley, and Pressing Strings. Come enjoy local craft beer, Triple Creek Wine, kids games, inflatables, face-painting, artists, and plenty of food. Come take pics in the sunflower patch. Bring picnic blankets, folding chairs, pop-up tents to create your own gathering space.
Triple Creek Winery, 11138 Three Bridge Branch Rd, Cordova, MD, is easy to get to…only three miles from Rt. 50 Ocean Gateway, just outside of Easton, with plenty of free onsite parking.
