On Friday, May 20, 12 Orioles Wives joined Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake's female volunteers for the Baltimore Women Build. These dedicated women donned orange hard hats and picked up sledgehammers to perform demolition on a Baltimore rowhouse on Fairmount Avenue. Even the Oriole mascot pitched in, much to the delight of the neighborhood children!
Renovation on the home will continue for approximately six months, concluding with the new homeowner, Sequoia Gaylord, being presented with keys during a festive and meaningful dedication ceremony.
