Annapolis, MD - Anne Arundel County Recreation & Parks gives a special thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the reopening of the GORC fields at Odenton Park this past weekend. Facility users and community members can now enjoy the new park renovations and amenities: parking expansion, utility extensions, field lighting, a new pavilion, an improved and expanded playground, a baseball field complex, and a concession-comfort station building.
In 2023 alone, GORC fielded 53 youth teams in the County's leagues and 6 in-house leagues. The volunteers who coach and oversee these programs are essential in creating a positive and supportive environment for young athletes to learn and grow. Anne Arundel County Recreation & Parks thanks you for all you have done and continue to do!
