Kayak rentals are on hold until better weather, but Whoof on the Wharf has plenty of other activities to keep you warm and wonderful this winter.
Here at The Wharf, Whoof provides opportunities for people to get out on the South River with their pups, whether it be in our kayaks or their own. Located right next to the Pier Restaurant, paddlers can grab a bite to eat with their furry friends right after coming in from the water.
With other activities like summer camps, group exercise classes, training classes, pet-focused art classes, paddle photo shoots, fund raisers for local rescues and animal welfare organizations and more, there is something for everyone and every member of the family. Whoof even has its own “Arf Gallery” where members and guests may come view the dog-centric work of local artisans. We are now offering paint your pet nights at our clubhouse as we await the next paddling season, which will include kids' kayaking classes, art workshops and summer camp opportunities. Camp registration is now open through Eventbrite, with an early bird discount for a limited time.
Whoof’s mission is to create avenues for dogs to be more a part of their humans’ lives, and to create opportunities for like-minded dog lovers to socialize. If you love spending time with family – whether two- or four-legged – and value quality activities and getting outside while the weather cooperates, then check us out!
