More than 300 guests enjoyed dining, dancing, and plenty of successful bidding on nearly 100 silent and live auction items at the 12th Annual Black Tie and Diamonds Gala, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Annapolis.
Held Saturday, March 7th, at the Westin Annapolis Hotel, the sold-out event benefited the Connected Warrior Foundation, which assists injured soldiers returning from wars overseas.
Thanks to multiple sponsors, the gala raised $50,000 for the foundation.
The Rotary Club of Annapolis will sponsor the 70th Annual World's Largest Crab Feast from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 7th, at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. The event raises money for local charities and community groups. For information, visit www.annapolisrotary.org.
