The Friends Foundation, an Annapolis-based nonprofit organization, welcomed about 200 guests to its annual holiday party, held in December at the Loews Annapolis Hotel.
The Vegas-style event featured a variety of "just for fun" casino games, live music by the Doug Segree Band, silent and live auctions, and plenty of dancing. Guests also enjoyed delicious passed hors d'oeuvres and buffet stations, along with complimentary cocktails, wine, and beer!
The evening raised $50,000 for the Kennedy Krieger Institute's Center for Genetic Muscle Disorders in Baltimore; $15,000 for the Anne Arundel County Medical Center Foundation in Annapolis; $5,000 for the Avergan Foundation in Annapolis; and $1,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.
