The Maryland Theatre for the Performing Arts' “Building the Theatre One Note at a Time” Friend and Fundraising Event was held Thursday, March 19th at Metropolitan Kitchen and Lounge in Annapolis.
Several highlights of the evening included live entertainment by the Londontowne Symphony Quartet and the Dan Haas Trio; the honoring of MTPA's Founding Circle Members (individuals who have donated a minimum of $10,000 to support the project's future), and a virtual fly-through of the new performing arts and conference venue.
Thanks to the event's presenting sponsor, Gormley Jarashow Bowman, LLC, numerous supporters, and 130 guests, MTPA raised more than $100,000. The proceeds will help advance MTPA's mission to create a first-class cultural destination.
