Calling all Parrot Heads! The 10th Annual Boatyard Beach Bash returns to Annapolis on Saturday, September 20th with live music, cocktails, and a grilled buffet! The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, located at 723 Second Street in Annapolis.
We caught up with one of the event's organizers to get the inside scoop on this rockin' party!
What can guests expect? The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with Peter Mayer, Scott Kirby, and Brendan Mayer (and their guitars) providing an intimate performance of great songs and stories. Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefers Michael Utley and Doyle Grisham, along with the John Frinzi Band, will continue the entertainment throughout the night.
Food and drinks? There's no need to eat dinner before arriving at the Boatyard Beach Bash - both VIP and general admission ticket-holders can indulge in the extensive grilled dinner buffet, provided by Boatyard Bar & Grill. As for drinks, each guest will receive two complimentary drink vouchers and a cash bar is available with speciality cocktails -- all to be enjoyed on the idyllic beachside setting.
What about parking? Street parking is always an option, but there will be free parking at the following locations: Eastport Baptist Church (208 Chesapeake Avenue), Horn Point Marina (105 Eastern Avenue), and Easport Elementary School (on the corner of 6th and Bay Ridge avenues).
The dress code? Hawaiian shirts and flips flops are more than appropriate for the evening - this is a Jimmy Buffet-themed party after all!
Are tickets still available? Yes, it's not too late to score some general admission tickets (VIP tickets are sold out, unfortunately)! In addition to getting in to the event, the $65 general admission ticket includes two complimentary drink vouchers.
