Dr. Capozzoli practices general neurology which includes diseases of the ain, spine, peripheral nerves, and muscle. A graduate of New York University School of Medicine, he received his neurological training at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He has been Board Certified in Neurology since 1976 and has practiced in Annapolis for 37 years.
Dr. Capozzoli has been at the forefront of many important medical initiatives here in Annapolis. He helped introduce Cat Scanning to our hospital when that technology first became available. He also served as the first Chair and founder of our medical ethics committee and helped our hospital's hospice program to get started by serving as its first volunteer Medical Director. In addition to his full practice of medicine, Dr. Capozzoli has also been a member of the faculty of St. John's College since 1986.
