The free outdoor festival will feature live music, activities for kids, chalk drawing, face painting, local art and community vendors, and more. The event will be held rain or shine. Annual 10-Mile Run – Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, Annapolis
Sunday, August 25th, 7 a.m.
Join Annapolis Striders for its 44th annual 10-mile run. The race will begin at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, travel over the Naval Academy Bridge into Pendennis Mount, and finish at the stadium. Approximately 4,000 runners are expected to participate in this year’s race, and each finisher will receive a custom 1/2-zip long sleeve technical shirt and a medal. Proceeds will benefit several local charities and Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Maryland Fiesta Latina – Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, Crownsville

The 2019 annual Light Night party promises to be the best one yet. This celebration of the Choptank River Lighthouse will feature food, dancing, auctions, door prizes, and much more. Proceeds benefit the Cambridge Lighthouse Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to promote visitation to the lighthouse and enhance the experiences visitors have while there, and connect those visitors with other great attractions and businesses in our community.

Maryland State Fair – Maryland State Fairgrounds

Celebrating its 138th year, the Maryland State Fair returns to the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. The fair will feature thrill rides for the whole family, your favorite fair games and food, strolling performers, live entertainment, and so much more! The Live! On Track Concert Series, presented by M&T Bank, will feature live performances by American pop band Hanson, southern rock legends The Marshall Tucker Band, ACM Award-nominated duo LoCash, and ’80s arena rock band Night Ranger.
Chesapeake Crab, Wine and Beer Festival – National Harbor
