rThis annual celebration of the artistic talents of students from Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, and Queen Anne’s counties highlights nearly 300 works from kindergarten through 12th grade, plus special education. The exhibits will include a variety of media including painting, drawings, sculpture, photography and printmaking. Presented by the Museum for more than 20 years, this is the largest and most prestigious exhibition of student art on the Eastern Shore.
To allow for greater participation than in years past, the artwork will displayed in two different exhibitions. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best work from each grade level. The high school awards will be presented at 6 p.m. on April 22, 2001 during the exhibit’s Opening Reception, which will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Awards for the students in kindergarten through grade eight, plus special education will be presented at 6 p.m. on May 12, 2011 during the exhibit’s Opening Reception, which will be held from 4 to 7 p.m.
