Singer, songwriter Eric Scott is a maverick in the local music scene. Eric has to date enjoyed a varied and interesting musical journey. He's a touring bassist and vocalist, Scott has performed on numerous stages throughout Europe, Canada, the Caribbean Islands, Central America, and the entire United States. While building his reputation as one of the area's most sought after sideman & session players, Scott has written four of his own albums, including his latest release, “Where Water Runs Deepest”.
r
Scott's touring journey continues as he will be performing songs off the new album, “Where Water Runs Deepest” released in May 2012 on the Itzall Goode Indie Music label at the Chesapeake Arts Center. DEEPEST further explores the neo-soul, funk, and pop influence. Scott says, “I've always wanted to make an acoustic record. Just guitar and voice. Songs seem to be transparent when they're recorded that way. This album is very emotional, raw, and honest”.
r
Eric Scott has also featured one of his songs in the TV show, “Felicity” and has written music for the Indie movie, “Tracks”. Not only did CBS Baltimore name Eric one of the best singer-songwriters in the Baltimore area in 2011, but he's also performed live on stage with the national acts, BB King, Ray Charles and Jimmy Buffett.
