The Navy women's lacrosse team (19-2) finished their best season in program history with their first NCAA Tournament win (12-6 over Monmouth on Friday) and a season-ending loss against Duke (10-5) on Sunday. Senior attacker Jasmine DePompeo, named 2013 IWLCA All-South Region First Team, 2013 Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, and 2013 All-Patriot League First Team finished the season with 127 points (56 goals, 71 assists). r rr
The Chesapeake Bayhawks (3-0) remained unbeaten after a 14-5 win over the Ohio Machine in a game that was called after three quarters due to lightning activity Saturday night.
