For the kids …
Take the little ones to Masonville Cove Environmental Center in Baltimore so they can learn about turtles tomorrow from 10 to 11 a.m.. They’ll meet red-eared sliders, mud turtles and terrapins, hear stories and participate in related activities. It’s for kids ages 2 to 5 and it’s free.
For the grown-ups …
Go to jazz brunch at the Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis on Sunday. You can hear live music from 11 to 2 and partake in the make your own bloody Mary bar. Choose to make your drink non-alcoholic if you wish, or order a mimosa instead.
For the whole family …
Check out the shenanigans of humor writers Dave Barry and Gene Weingarten as you participate in a zany scavenger hunt sponsored by the Washington Post. It's starts at noon on Sunday in Freedom Plaza in D.C. Solve the puzzles and be quick about it and you may win some cash money. Either way, it’s a good time.
