Hikers at the 2019 Walk for the Woods

Join Scenic Rivers Land Trust for our signature event celebrating families exploring the outdoors, the beautiful Bacon Ridge Natural Area, and the value of land protection.

Enjoy a day in your local, protected woods! We're partnering once again with AA County Rec and Parks to host a day of guided hikes and public access to the 1000+ acre Bacon Ridge Natural Area. Special programs include including bird watching, amphibian searches, and naturalist hikes.

This event is free, but registration is recommended. Available hikes and a link to registration will be posted to www.srlt.org in early April.
