Join Summer Rayne Oaks in our Houseplant Haven for an evening of houseplant talks and wine. Summer’s book has been warmly received globally and translated into dozens of languages. Her mission of design, creative solutions, and addressing some of our greatest environmental challenges drives her to bring the best information to her followers.
Join Homestead Gardens and Summer Rayne Oakes of Homestead Brooklyn for an early screening of one of her episodes of Plant One On Me. Summer Rayne travels the world in search of some of the best stories of people and their plants for her YouTube channel, whose mission is to bring people closer to plants by bringing plants closer to them. We’ll be screening a 70-minute episode, “What’s it Like to Live in a Greenhouse?”, which will feature an unforgettable, awe-inspiring houseplant home tour that combines both indoor plants and outdoor plants.
Event will feature wine and drinks; screening of the film; a short Q&A; and book signing for her latest book, How to Make a Plant Love You: Cultivate Green Space in Your Home & Heart. Some books will be available, but be sure to bring a copy of yours if you want it signed!
