Still Life Painting Workshop with Bernard Dellario

This class will introduce the student to the methods and materials of oil painting. By using the still life subject, students will have the opportunity to focus on the fundamentals of oil painting. Strong emphasis will be placed on exercises in seeing basic abstract shapes, how to block in a painting, understanding values, observation of the play of light on the subject and composition. Previous painting experience not required, but some drawing experience would be preferred.
