Columbia Pro Cantare opens its 47th season with the concert, “Hispanic Heritage,” on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 8 pm at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3604 Chatham Road, Ellicott City. The CPC chorus will sing works by Hispanic composers featuring a new piece by Venezuelan-born Cristian Grasses commissioned by the Chorus America Consortium, and the work, Misa Criolla by Ariel Ramirez. Guest artists include Andres Felipe Palacios, guitar, and Isaiah Shim, piano. The chorus will be under the direction of Artistic Director Laura Lee Fischer.
Tickets: In advance, Adults $23, students and senior citizens $18; $2 more at the door. Children 15 and under: $10. Group rates available.
