Community Seminars: “Italian Neorealist Films”

Offered at various levels of commitment, Community Seminars offer members of our community the chance to sit around the seminar table and engage with great works of literature, philosophy, and more in the signature St. John’s style.

David Townsend leads this examination of four famous Italian films: Bicycle Thieves (Vittoria De Sica, 1948), Nights of Cabiria (Federico Fellini, 1957), The Conformist (Bernardo Bertolucci, 1970), and The Tree of Wooden Clogs (Ermanno Olmi, 1978).
