William Paca: A Survey of his Personal and Political Lives
William Paca is remembered as one of the four Maryland patriots who signed the Declaration of Independence, but that historic moment in 1776 is best understood in the broader context of his personal and political lives. Glenn E. Campbell, retired Senior Historian of Historic Annapolis, outlines the basic contours of Paca’s life and highlights his public service through three revolutionary decades.
