Weekend Seminar: “Plato, Three Dialogues on Virtue”

Offered at various levels of commitment, Community Seminars offer members of our community the chance to sit around the seminar table and engage with great works of literature, philosophy, and more in the signature St. John’s style.

In the Meno, the Gorgias, and the first book of The Republic, Plato discusses in strikingly similar ways many issues surrounding the single question that Socrates considers the most important of all: What is the best way to live our lives? Lunch is provided!
