Winter Lecture Series: A Day in the Life of Mrs. Mary Paca
William Paca House and Garden 186 Prince George St., Annapolis, Maryland 21401
Experience a day in the life of Mrs. Mary Paca; from her morning preparations of hair and putting on her “face,” to her daily activities and even dressing in a formal gown for the evening’s festivities.
Kimberly Walters, Kerry McClure, Gema Gonzalez, Eliza Vincz Lichack, and Robin Marchionni, members of the Annapolis Living Historians, will present and demonstrate the daily life of upper-class women in the 18th century. They will portray Mrs. Mary Chew Paca, Mrs. Ann Tasker Ogle, and other friends. Of course, they will be discussing the latest news, their lives, and gossip of the day as you’re treated to sweets and light refreshments.
