Welcome beer lovers to the fifth annual Chesapeake Beer Madness competition. Since 2009, we've presented the region's best eweries in a acket-style contest that pits beer-versus-beer in several rounds of voting. A final round of winner-take-all voting determines our champion. Last year, we had a and new champion in Eastern Shore Brewing. Their entry—St. Michaels Ale—not only eclipsed 15 competitors, but also defeated three-time reigning champion Evolution Brewing. Who will you choose as the new, local king of beers? This year's field has been narrowed to eight local eweries devoted to crafting the finest ales, pilsners, stouts, and seasonals your lips will sip. And all are available at many fine local retailers and restaurants.
