Shown is Patricia Murphy putting the finishing touches on her original watercolor, “The Catwalk”, for the Mid-Shore Animal League's annual Fashion Show and Luncheon being held on October 6 at the Talbot Country Club. The fundraiser festivities begin at 11:30. Mrs. Murphy is the 2011 honoree for the event and has kindly donated the framed original as one of the Live Auction items. For several years Pat has been the artist creating MSAL's unique invitations and has been most generous with donating the original each year. She is also a volunteer at various shelters and has lovingly fostered over 250 kittens, some from birth. The Mid-Shore Animal League (MSAL) a component fund of the Mid-Shore Community Foundation (MSCF) benefits organizations that provide animals with much needed comfort, care and medical attention. Organizations which have already been recipients of funds are ARF, Caroline County Humane, Dorchester County Humane (a no kill shelter) and Tom Cat Solutions.
