Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC) has been recognized in two award categories by the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA). Michael G. Livingston, AAEDC Board of Directors Chairman and President of Bank of Glen Burnie, received the MEDA Volunteer of the Year Award and Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole received the Judges' Redevelopment Award.

AAEDC was also recognized for the success of Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole. The award honors the project's positive impact through redevelopment including coordination of partnerships, leverage of resources, innovation and creativity, community revitalization, impact upon the tax base, enhancement of community life, and environmental stewardship. r
“Annapolis Towne Centre (ATC) at Parole has provided diversity to the economy, generating substantial, long-term tax revenue for both Anne Arundel County and Maryland,” said Mr. Hannon. “With the positive benefits it has ought to the businesses and residences within the greater Parole Growth Area, and its successful response to market demand, Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole has been a terrific success.”
