For Krystyn, life's a pretty picture—and she's the one painting her portion of it in oad strokes. Sporting a 3.5 GPA, this outgoing junior from Arnold plans to be a business major in college, but for now, she's busy playing midfield on her school's girls' lacrosse squad, painting, and dabbling in the photographic arts. An honorable mention All-League player in the Capital Area Lacrosse League, Krystyn also enjoys the teamwork and common objectives of high school athletics, as well as working on a canvas by herself.

“I love working with my teammates to accomplish goals and work together,” she says. “And I love photography, traveling, and painting.”

Right now, she's wrapping up her final year of high school; her college of choice is not yet set. A member of the National Spanish Honor Society, junior class president in Indian Creek Upper School's Student Government Association, she was class vice-president a year ago. A captain on her soccer team last season, she was awarded the Players' Choice Award, was named Most Improved Player in hoops (she's a forward), and received the C. Markland Kelly Athletic Service Award in 2010.

Krystyn is the daughter of Larry and Mary Major; she has an older other, 22-year-old Corbin.
