rInterested musicians and street performers of all kinds: jugglers, magicians, unicyclists, comedians, storytellers, are invited to apply for a spot in this year’s festival, which runs Sundays from Memorial Day through Labor Day at Susan B. Campbell Park. The public is invited to attend and cheer for their favorite acts.r
Now in its third year, the Festival is seeking professional street performers and bands with quality, family-oriented acts who would like to perform in one of the 30+time slots being offered for visitors to the city's waterfront stage throughout the summer. Presented by ARINC, and co-sponsored by many of the businesses in Annapolis' Downtown Business District, the Festival is becoming a staple of Annapolis' summer entertainment offerings. All performers are paid and will have the opportunity to showcase their talents to audiences of all ages.
r
Summer at City Dock will take place from 2 pm to 7 pm each Sunday throughout the summer, from May 29 – September 5th with street performers taking the stage for the first half of the day, followed by a free concert at 4:30 pm.
r
“Our primary goal is to continue to provide families with free quality entertainment at the City's waterfront,” said Linda Hartwig, Senior Director of Marketing for ARINC, the Festival's lead sponsor. “We hope that Summer at City Dock will continue to ing people out to enjoy the wealth of talent that resides in our midst.”
