Of course, none of that would be possible without the genuine warmth and competence of Dr. Esposito. Dr. Esposito graduated from Temple Dental School in 2001 and completed a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Originally hailing from New Jersey, she moved to Annapolis in 2002 when her husband became a civilian professor at USNA. As a mother of a five and eight-year old, a busy professional, and a patient herself, she had a vision of what the ideal dental practice should be. At her Arnold office, she blends her past experiences to deliver her own and of family dentistry, with a personal touch. “The best part of being a dentist is the relationships you build with your patients over the years. You watch their kids grow up,” says Dr. Esposito. “Often the most rewarding part of the day is easing the fears of a three-year-old at their first visit.”
Patients can be intimidated by the term cosmetic dentistry. What some people may not realize is that all good dental work should be cosmetically appealing. In some cases, that is as simple as making crowns and fillings look just like your natural teeth. She is a member of the Advanced Implant Study club—a group of 25 dentists and lab technicians that are committed to excellence in implant dentistry. They meet twice yearly, in VA and OH, to confer on difficult cases. “As a solo practioner it's important to get out of the office and discuss difficult cases with colleagues. Often, there are many different approaches to solving your dental problems. Keeping up with the latest advances is an important part of providing top-notch care.”

Q. Why doesn’t my dental insurance cover this?
A. Your dental coverage is not based on what you need or what your dentist recommends. It is based on how much your employer pays into the plan. Employers generally choose to cover some, but not all, of an employee’s dental costs. Keep in mind that preventative care is much cheaper than emergency care in the long run.
