Annapolis Restaurant Week – Downtown Annapolis
February 29 – March 7
Annapolis Restaurant Week celebrates its 12th year during the week of February 29 to March 8, 2020. This year the event is nine days to allow everyone to enjoy both weekends as well as the weekdays to enjoy the dining specials throughout Annapolis. Managed by the Downtown Annapolis Partnership, the event has become a popular way for locals to get out and socialize over good food after being bundled up indoors during the winter season. Forty restaurants in both downtown Annapolis and the greater Annapolis area will be offering two-course, price-fixed meal selections for just $12.95 for breakfast and $15.95 for lunch. A three-course dinner for $34.95 will be the main attraction.

Stop by Annapolis Elks Lodge for seminars from Charter Boat Captains, guides and expert anglers and see the latest gear from local tackle dealers at the Saltwater Fishin Expo. Don’t forget to grab your pit beef sandwiches, oysters, and pay a visit to the full-service bar.

Partying through Time: A Happy Hour Archaeology Workshop – Historic London Town and Gardens, Edgewater

Archaeologists with The Lost Towns Project will pull real artifact collections from Anne Arundel County out of storage for this hands-on workshop. Listen to experts describe lavish parties through the centuries, then go on a guided exploration of artifacts from ancient Native American feasts, Colonial taverns, and other historic celebrations.

Get educated about eating healthy and the significance of colorful fruits and vegetables with your 2-6-year-olds. Annapolis Pediatrics will explain how important eating healthy is and how important it is to get these healthy habits in early.

The Who’s Tommy – Washington College, Chestertown

Based on the iconic 1969 rock concept album, The Who's Tommy is an exhilarating story of hope, healing and the human spirit. The story of the pinball-playing, deaf, dumb and blind boy who triumphs over his adversities has inspired, amazed and puzzled audiences for more than 40 years. This five-time Tony Award-winning musical was translated to the stage by theatrical wizard, Des McAnuff, into a high-energy, one-of-a-kind theatrical event.
Crawfish Boil & Muskrat Stew Fest – Sailwinds West Governors Hall, Cambridge

Celebrate the Eastern Shore’s muskrat heritage and more on Sunday, March 1, at the Crawfish Boil & Muskrat Stew Fest in downtown Cambridge, Maryland. The festival happens every year the day after the National Outdoor Show, which is a celebration of local culture with muskrat skinning championships that draw contenders from Maryland and from Louisiana, where muskrats are prevalent. (That Louisiana connection is where the crawfish come in.) So, it's a real Muskrat Weekend!
Love on Tap: FeBREWary 29 – Ocean City Convention Center, Ocean City

This will be the 5th year for this fabulous celebration of local craft beer. We are combining the beauty of our bayside celebration, a constant view of the water, live music and lots of local craft beer for you. For the first time, Love on Tap will be at the Ocean City Convention Center. On Friday, we will have a FREE interactive brewers roundtable at the Performing Arts center, followed by the first pre-party for a Shore Craft Beer Fest at Seacrets.
National Outdoor Show – South Dorchester School, Church Creek

Enjoy a slice of authentic Dorchester County culture with oyster shucking, log sawing, muskrat skinning, duck calling--and beauty pageants--during the 75th annual National Outdoor Show Feb. 28-29. The event opens Friday evening with a pageant to name Miss Outdoors, followed by the world championship muskrat skinning semi-finals. The event continues on Saturday with Little Miss and Little Mister Outdoors, game cooking demo, police K-9 demo, duck and goose calling contests, championship muskrat skinning, and more.

Post Malone will be preforming at Capital One Arena in D.C. on the second leg of is Runaway tour with special guests Swae Lee and Tyla Yoweh on February 27. The show will start at 8 p.m. but the doors will open at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now starting at $129.
Spring Maryland Home and Garden Show – Maryland State Fairgrounds, Timonium

It is opening weekend for the Spring Maryland Home and Garden Show located at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. The garden theme is “Entertaining with Nature’s Pizza and will include over 400 home design and improvement booths. There will also be a spring craft show, petting zoo for kids, orchard show, and wine tasting.
