Annapolis, MD - The CRAB Gemini power catamaran is being outfitted with fishing gear and equipment, with support from a grant from the Annapolis Rotary Club Foundation, for the enjoyment of our guests who want to catch some fish from their wheelchairs on the Bay. CRAB's long-awaited Adaptive Fishing Program is almost ready to cast off under the guidance of CRAB's new fishing guide, George Turner. Now all we need is a little warmer weather and the fish to start biting.
Fishing is an activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ability levels with just a few adaptations. Anyone can enjoy this fun, relaxing sport, using light fishing tackle and electric reels for landing the big one.
If you want to learn more about Adaptive Fishing with CRAB, contact Manager of Programs, Shannon Rohrer.
