As of last Monday, I am officially an Annapolis resident. However, what was an even bigger deal to me was introducing my dog, Bear, to my new condo and my new roommate yesterday. Since Bear weighs in at 75 pounds, if he ain't happy ain't nobody happy. He is a rescue from the ASPCA of Anne Arundel County and can be a bit, well, neurotic. Luckily, he seems pleased and is already redecorating the living room with his toys. To support other neurotic, and less so, pets who need homes, I attend the Walk for the Animals at Quiet Waters Park every year. You should too. This year it's on May 1 from 8 am. to noon. You do not have to ing a pet with you. You may end up taking one home, though. Start collecting pledges now and you can earn some great prizes.
