This weekend I found myself running outdoors in a torrential downpour, and I started thinking about how great the Maryland weather is in March. It's hot; no it's cold; no it's raining, but only where you're standing, not 20 feet away; well, unless you move 20 feet away, and then the clouds follow you.
This got me wondering what ave souls decided to schedule outdoor events during this wonderful month, and I found something that I find pretty interesting. It's called Beer and Fear. It's happening at Terrapin Adventures in Savage on March 19th. Climb a tower, complete a high ropes course, glide down a zip line and then have dinner and a beer tasting courtesy of the Rams Head. Sounds like a fun Sunday to me, although it will probably snow.
