Ribbon Cutting at Pocket Park. Co-sponsored by the City of Annapolis and the MainStreets Annapolis Partnership, made possible by the generosity of the Blonder family and many others, we will open up a Pocket Park on Main Street for the Holiday Season. Open to all and hosting entertainers and special downtown business promotions during Midnight Madness, the park will help make the holiday an even better time to shop downtown.

Grand Illumination -- Lighting the Annapolis Christmas Tree! Sponsored by the Annapolis Jaycees, this popular city holiday event will offer everyonel the chance to get in the spirit of the season.

December 8th and 15th - 6-12 pm

Midnight Madness Shop Annapolis… Shop Maryland and Main and West Street! These two dates give you ample time shop-'til-you-drop and hear your favorite holiday music played from street corners downtown. Enjoy the shopping, street performers and treats in store from the many wonderful downtown merchants. Don't miss it.

December 10th: 6-9 pm at the Harbor

Light Parade and Fireworks - Illuminated with thousands of colored lights and crewed by jolly revelers. Families and friends gather at their favorite viewing spots all along the Spa Creek and Harbor waterfront. This is a signature Annapolis event brought to us by the Eastport Yacht Club.

December 17th 10am-8pm West Annapolis

"It's a Wonderful Life" - Enjoy a nostalgic holiday event with Santa, shopping, children's activities and entertainment. Free horse and carriage rides from 5pm-8pm. Watch your favorite holiday movie, It's A Wonderful Life, showing throughout the day. A portion of merchant sales will be donated to local charities.

December 22nd: 6 -11 pm

Eleventh Hour Shopping - Perfect for that last minute dash. Shops along Maryland, Main and West open late one last evening. Shop and dine with your family and friends.
