Have you made it out to the Cherry Blossom Festival yet? What better way to cele ate the (sort of) arrival of spring then by checking out the infamous trees on the Ellipse in Washington, D.C.? I'll be there on Sunday at the crack of dawn getting ready to run 10 miles, but you can show up later and still enjoy lots of events throughout the day. Or, show up early and avoid the crowds, and you can get a glimpse of the elite athletes in the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Run finishing way before everybody else.
Late risers can enjoy a fireworks show at Waterfront Park at 8:30 p.m., and if they show up earlier, they'll be treated to over seven hours of music, family friendly activities, and of course, food and drink available for purchase.
