If you're looking for something to do in Annapolis, I strongly suggest that you check out the 2nd Annual Italian Market Wine Festival this Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. It features domestic and international wines, delicious food, and live entertainment. Plus, there are children's activities, so you don't have to feel bad about leaving the kids at home.

Tickets are $30 in advance, and $35 at the door. If you want to get them early, visit The Italian Market of Annapolis on Defense Highway. (That's also where the festival is being held.)

And, if you need any more encouragement to go, I should tell you that 30% of the proceeds from the event to to the Johns Hopkins Hospital, on behalf of Love for Luca. The organization was developed for three year old Luca Assante from Annapolis, who's currently battling a rare form of cancer, rabdomysarcoma. Its purpose and mission is to raise money for Johns Hopkins' Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Care Musculoskeletal Tumor Research Program.

Before I move on, here's a quick note for all you soon-to-be ides, What's Up? Weddings is hosting its Fall Bridal Showcase at the Crofton Country Club this Sunday from 1-4 p.m. You'll be able to meet local vendors, sample cakes and hors d'oeurvres, get wedding ideas, and take in the Bridal Fashion Show—all while sipping champagne. Plus, you could win fantastic prizes from your wedding day. What's not to love?

If you find yourself on the Shore this weekend, though, you'll definitely want to take a trip down to Cam idge. From 4-10 p.m. on Saturday, the city is hosting its annual Summer Sendoff downtown. The festival features great food, a variety of ews, and musical entertainment including Blues DeVille, the Chris Gillis Trio, and Tommy Buckets.

And, make sure you stick around for the wacky and fun Main Street Mile, a tricycle relay race where participants wear snorkel flippers. It's sure to be entertaining.

Now, if you happen to be a motorcyclist, you're in luck. This weekend marks the arrival of Delmarva Bike Week. The event welcomes motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country to enjoy rides and activities throughout the Delmarva Peninsula.

Attractions include a Harley Davidson Sale, Dogg Bone Customs, and the Dyno from Throttle City Cycle. Bike week takes place at locations throughout the area including Salisbury, ocean City, and Seaford. Times vary, so see their website for details.
