As a general dentist, Dr. Randall Hiers has focused on giving his patients comprehensive care in one location. To that end, he has pursued, focused and refined that care with a particular emphasis on cosmetics, implants and both oral and IV sedation. Having practiced for 30 years he has completed post-graduate training from the Nash Institute for Cosmetics, both the Misch and Pikos Institutes for Implants, and received his IV sedation training from Miami Valley Hospital in Ohio with additional training at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Hiers says, “My job is to inform the patients of their needs, give them solutions and guide them into the best possible outcome for their particular situation. We want to exceed their expectation and deliver care that potentially can last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance.”
Recently, he has focused on “mini implants” in an effort to give his patients a more affordable opportunity to stabilize and hold complete and partial dentures in place. Patients can finally say, “I can eat what I want.” This type of implant can most often be done at a fraction of the cost of regular implants and without multiple visits or ancillary procedures. Many times, the patient's own dentures can be used as the final prosthesis where they are held in place and function immediately.

Q: What do you consider the most advanced whitening system on the market today?
A: KOR Whitening Deep Bleaching System is the answer. While there have been many over the years, much of what has been promoted is the same with different packaging. But the KOR system is clearly recognized as the “best product” by a wide margin because it removes the impurities locked in the porosities of the teeth. It addresses the sensitivity often associated with whitening systems and is backed by 20 years of research and thousands of clinical successes.
