Rik Ferrell and Keith Thompson of the Roadhouse Clams
Avalon Theatre 40 E Dover St, Easton, Maryland 21601
10 years ago, on a cold dark night, southern soul miscreants the Roadhouse Clams debuted right here in Easton, MD.
Three acclaimed albums later and more than a thousand live performances, sharing stages with such luminaries as bluesman Jonny Lang, the Avett Brothers, the Nighthawks, and Teddy Gentry of country legends Alabama, the Clams have remained true to their inimitable blend of Vintage Blues Rock, Outlaw Country, Tiki Bar Tropical, and pure, bareknuckle debauchery.
To mark their 10th anniversary, guitarist Pacifico Rik and mandolin maestro Scoutmaster Keith are re-opening the Clams’ famed “unhinged songbook” at the Stoltz for an anything-goes evening of acoustic rebellion—marking their first performance together in nearly three years.
And in true Roadhouse Clams tradition, it’s safe to expect numerous special guests to crash the party too.
