Sculpture lives in the world with us, sharing space in our 3D experience. In its very essence, sculpture provides a physical platform for the expression of our ideas and thoughts. It has marked our history, recording our evolving humanity with form, shape, and material.

Student artists will be introduced to the principles of sculpture and techniques for construction. Using slides and physical examples, we will look at a wide variety of sculpture both for reference and inspiration. Students will then flex their new perspective using a variety of materials (wood, clay, cardboard, etc)
