Bob Caffey, “The Banyan Tree,” Watercolor, “Second Act,” Quiet Waters Park
Two exhibits will be on view in the Visitors Center of Quiet Waters Park from August 26 through October 11, 2020. “Second Act, For the Love of Art” features the paintings of five local artists in the Garden Gallery who began pursuing their passion for making art after retiring from professional careers in architecture, transportation safety, nursing, communications/marketing and teaching. Jan Sterling’s work, in the Garden Gallery, is meant to inspire energy and excitement from within—to empower the viewer to do something bold and powerful. Ideally, her art is meant to remind you that life is for feeling and stretching and living.
The Galleries at Quiet Waters Park are opened from 9 - 4, Monday through Friday and 10 - 4 on Weekends. Entrance to the park is $6.00 per vehicle.
