Learn the art of Lino Cut and Relief Printing with artist and printmaker Betsey Sanpere.
Kids will learn how to create a design, transfer it to the block using tracing and carbon paper, learn about positive and negative space and patterns, learn how to use their tools to cut out their block, pull a proof, print a small edition, learn how to number and sign, and try it in another color.
There is a small material fee but kids will get to take their carving tool set home so they can continue to make other blocks for printing again!
